These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tool & Tote website and any purchases made through our store. By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Pricing & Payments

  • Currency: All prices on our website are listed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Transparent pricing: The total price, including VAT and any applicable delivery charge, is shown clearly at checkout before you pay. We do not charge surprise processing or restocking fees.
  • Payment processing: Orders are securely processed through trusted payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • Pricing errors: If we discover an obvious pricing error after you place an order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

3. Orders & Contract
Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we cannot verify your details, and we will refund any payment taken.

4. Order Processing & Delivery

  • Service area: We deliver within the United Kingdom only. We do not ship internationally, or to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
  • Order cut-off time: 4:00 PM (UK time) on business days, Monday to Friday.
  • Handling time: 1–2 business days.
  • Transit time: 2–5 business days.
  • Estimated total delivery time: 3–7 business days.
  • Delivery charge: Standard delivery is free on all orders.

5. Returns & Refunds
You have 14 days after receiving your order to tell us you want to cancel it, and a further 14 days to send the items back.

  • Eligible items: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned with all accessories, manuals, batteries, chargers and components.
  • Exempt items: For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept items that have been used or installed, petrol-powered equipment that has been fuelled or started, items damaged through misuse, or opened or used consumables such as blades, cutting chains and sanding sheets.
  • Damaged or incorrect items: If an item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery at support@toolandtote.store with photos of the product and outer packaging. We will arrange a replacement, repair or full refund.
  • Faulty items: If an item is faulty, contact us as soon as you notice the problem.
  • Refunds: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.

6. Restocking & Return Shipping Fees

  • Restocking fees: Tool & Tote charges £0.00 in restocking fees on all eligible returns.
  • Return shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns (change of mind). We will confirm the cost with you before you arrange the return. If the return is due to our error, or the item arrived damaged or faulty, Tool & Tote will cover the return shipping costs.

7. Product Use & Safety
Our products include powered garden equipment, power tools and storage. You are responsible for reading and following the manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidance supplied with each product, and for using protective equipment where appropriate. We are not liable for loss or injury caused by misuse or by ignoring those instructions.

8. Product Information
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours and minor details may vary slightly from what you see on screen.

9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

10. Your Legal Rights
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

11. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property
All original content on this website, including product photos, written copy, brand logos, graphics and designs, is the property of Tool & Tote and is protected by copyright law in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Any unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.

14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation.
