Shipping policy
At Tool & Tote, we handle and package every order with care, because our lawn mowers, power tools and storage products are heavy and need secure packing. Please review the information below about our delivery area, order cut-off time, handling time, transit time, delivery estimates and tracking.
Shipping Locations
Tool & Tote ships within the United Kingdom only. We do not currently ship to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or any international destination, including the European Union and the United States.
Order Cut-Off Time
Our daily order cut-off time is 4:00 PM (UK time) on business days, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 4:00 PM on a business day begin processing that same day. Orders placed after 4:00 PM, or on a weekend or UK bank holiday, begin processing on the next business day. The cut-off applies after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Handling / Processing Time
Our standard handling time is 1–2 business days. Handling begins once your order has been placed and payment confirmed. During this period we verify the order, inspect the item, and package and prepare the shipment.
Transit Time
Once your order has been handed to the carrier, the estimated transit time is 2–5 business days. Larger items, such as lawn mowers and rolling tool storage, may be delivered by a specialist courier. Transit times are estimates and may vary with your location, carrier operations, weather and bank holidays.
Total Delivery Time
- Handling time: 1–2 business days
- Transit time: 2–5 business days
- Total estimated delivery time: 3–7 business days across the United Kingdom
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Business Days & Hours
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Our customer support team is available during store hours, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM MST.
Shipping Charges
Standard shipping is free on all orders within the United Kingdom. No hidden or unexpected handling fees are added after checkout. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link so you can follow your delivery. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the carrier’s system to update the tracking details.
Delivery of Large and Heavy Items
Some products are heavy or bulky and may require someone to be present to receive and sign for the delivery. Please make sure the delivery address has safe, accessible drop-off access. Contact us before ordering if you have any access concerns.
Delivery Delays
We make every reasonable effort to deliver on time. Delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Severe weather conditions
- Carrier transit delays
- Peak seasonal shipping volumes, including bank holidays
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses
If your parcel is delayed, please check your tracking link or contact the carrier directly for updates.
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Information
Please provide an accurate and complete UK delivery address, including postcode, at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply to resend it. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at support@toolandtote.store.
Lost, Missing or Damaged Packages
If your item arrives damaged, is missing, or is lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the damaged item and the outer packaging
We recommend inspecting large items on delivery and noting any visible damage with the courier. We will review your claim and work to resolve it promptly.
